About

Justin Meats is a proven product management and engineering leader with over 25 years of experience in eCommerce, B2B SaaS, and online marketing.  He is passionate about growing strong product teams focused on outcomes that deliver value to their customers/users using the product operating model.


He is Head of Product and Engineering at Precision eControl, which helps brand manufacturers identify and manage e-commerce disruptions from authorized and unknown/unauthorized sellers. 


Most recently, he was VP of Product at RevLocal, a digital marketing agency that helps small businesses get found and chosen online. Justin built the initial product management team and was responsible for the vision, strategy, and roadmap of RevLocal's marketing platform, which helps local businesses and multi-location brands thrive and find success with their online marketing.  


Before RevLocal, Justin was VP of Product at PriceSpider and led the product team responsible for the features and design of the company’s platform that helps manufacturers discover the what, where, when, and how people purchase their products while protecting brand equity. The platform included where-to-buy functionality on the manufacturer’s websites, monitoring and enforcing price policies such as Minimum Advertised Price (MAP), and ensuring retailers use the correct imaging, copy, and product specifications.


In July 2019, PriceSpider acquired ORIS Intelligence, where Justin was Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer. Justin helped build ORIS Intelligence from the ground up and was ultimately responsible for the company’s platform, which helped manufacturers efficiently and effectively enforce their price policies. 


Before co-founding ORIS Intelligence, Justin had several roles in website development, software engineering, marketing, and optimizing eCommerce conversion rates. He was an early advocate for eCommerce and has spent his career educating businesses on effective strategies for conducting business online.


He grew up in West Central Illinois and graduated summa cum laude from Quincy University with a double degree in computer science and broadcast communication. He met his wife, Erin, in college, and they have four kids, a dog and a cat. They moved from Quincy, Illinois to Upper Arlington, Ohio in 2010.


Justin is a big Star Wars fan and enjoys spending time outdoors in his free time. He and his son have traveled to the highest point in 20 states on their highpointing trips. He volunteers with Boy Scout Troop 417the Upper Arlington Marching Band, and UA Village Justin and his family are members of Saint Brendan the Navigator Church.  As a Columbus area resident, he’s also an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan.


He is a High” I” (Parrot) from the DISC Behavioral Assessment, an EFNJ-A (Campaigner) from 16Personalities (Myers-Briggs), and his two styles of Working Genius are Invention and Discernment.
